Glass Scratch Repair Before & After — The Proof Is in the Glass
Every glass restoration company claims they can fix scratched glass. Glass Restoration Inc. shows you the proof. The before and after results on this page are real jobs completed at real addresses throughout the Florida Gulf Coast and nationally — not stock photos, not staged demonstrations, not marketing imagery. These are the actual results our customers see when we pack up and leave. Deep scratches that caught fingernails. Hard water deposits that survived years of cleaning. Graffiti etching that a replacement company quoted at thousands of dollars. Construction damage discovered at final walkthrough. Zoo exhibit glass scratched by lions, tigers, and otters. Collector car glass where no replacement existed anywhere in the world. We fixed all of it. See for yourself.
Residential Windows & Sliding Glass Doors
New construction impact sliders scratched during the build process. Established home windows with years of hard water deposit accumulation. Deep fingernail-catching scratches that every replacement company said were beyond repair. These are the residential before and after results that define our Gulf Coast practice.
Commercial Storefronts & Office Glass
Graffiti and acid etching removed from downtown St. Petersburg storefronts. Office partition butt glass scratched during installation silicone removal. Commercial display glass at automotive dealerships and luxury retailers. The before and after results that keep commercial property managers calling us back.
Zoo & Aquarium Exhibit Glass
Tiger claw scratches. Lion contact damage. Otter destruction. Hyena fur abrasion. Crocodile waterline deposits. Zoo exhibit glass faces damage conditions that no other glass surface encounters — and the before and after results prove that even the most aggressive animal contact damage is restorable.
High Rise Condominium Glass
Balcony sliders on the 11th floor overlooking the Gulf. Impact glass on Bayshore Boulevard condominiums. Hard water deposits on Pelican Bay tower windows. The before and after results from some of the most prestigious condominium addresses on the Gulf Coast.
Collector Car & Specialty Glass
A 1957 Bentley Hooper Saloon — one of only nine ever built — with no replacement glass available anywhere in the world. A 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix whose restored glass contributed to a Trans Am National Championship. A 1978 Corvette windshield scratched beyond what any replacement supplier could match to the original. The before and after results that define what it means to be a national specialist.
Glass Elevator Floor — Tampa Florida
One of the most unusual glass restoration surfaces we have ever encountered — a glass elevator floor scratched by foot traffic, cleaning equipment, and the constant abrasive contact of daily use. The before and after results from a job that most glass restoration operators have never attempted.
Industrial & Specialty Glass
A PGT Innovations factory dumpster full of impact glass panels — $250,000 in glass saved from disposal in year one alone. CNC machine shop observation windows scratched by metal shavings. Backhoe cab glass restored in the field. The before and after results from the industrial glass restoration work that nobody else attempts.
What You Are Looking At — How to Read a Before & After
Every before photo on this page was taken under the same lighting conditions we use for ASTM C1036 compliant inspection — diffuse natural light or uniform artificial light at 1700 to 2500 lux measured at the glass surface. Every after photo was taken from the same angle and distance as the before photo. We do not use special lighting tricks to hide residual marks in after photos. We do not photograph after photos at angles that minimize visibility. What you see in the after photo is what the glass looks like when we leave — in normal lighting conditions from normal viewing distances. If you can see a mark in our after photo — we know about it and we addressed it before we left. The proof is in the glass.

This Is What Happens When You Choose the Wrong Company
Not every glass restoration company delivers the same result. This photo shows the aftermath of a restoration attempt by another operator on a new construction sliding glass door — distortion visible across the entire viewing area that was not there before the restoration attempt began. The homeowner paid for a restoration and received a door that was worse than the original scratch. The builder paid twice — once for the failed restoration and once for the replacement that followed. Glass Restoration Inc. was called after this happened. We see results like this more often than we should. Before you hire any glass restoration company — ask to see verified before and after results at named addresses. Ask for references from builders who have used them on multiple jobs. Ask whether they assess to ASTM C1036 optical clarity standards. If they cannot answer those questions confidently — you are looking at the wrong company. Your glass deserves better than this.
Shower Glass & Bathroom Mirrors
Brand new shower enclosures scratched before the first use. Razor blade damage from cleaning. Frameless glass with deep parallel scratches across the viewing surface. Mirror damage from electricians installing vanity lights. Before and after results that prove the replacement quote was never necessary.
