Glass restoration came out and took care of the scratches in our sliders across the back of our home left from the builder. They even came back to fix some that were not seen because of the sunlight that day. They do great work. Great local family business.

We own a high rise condo and new hurricane windows were installed - the person who removed the protective blue plastic used a razor and completely scratched several of the windows. Barry and his team came in and within no time the windows, despite the numerous scratches, came out looking perfect. They did an amazing job. His team were friendly, informative and very tidy in their work space, and cleaned up when they were finished. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend.

Our builder scheduled Barry to address several scratches on the windows and doors of our new construction home in Bokeelia. He arrived as scheduled, examined the scratches and went to work. A couple hours later, they all look perfect, even the mirrored closet door. I can’t comment on the price since our builder is paying, but Barry was friendly, courteous, tidy, and his work top notch in every way. HIGHLY recommended!

Had new windows installed in the entire house and the windows had etching from manufacturing process and labels. Barry showed up on-time, was extremely professional and pleasant and effectively polished the blemishes from all the glass. I am a construction superintendent for a high end builder and we have used this company several times in the past and they always do great work for me

Here's my story: I had double pane, hurricane proof windows installed by a Florida company to replace my single pane windows at the end of December 2021. After the new windows were installed, many scratches and marks were found on the glass. The window company sent Glass Restoration Inc. to resolve the problem. Glass Restoration Inc. is a family run business. I had the pleasure of meeting, speaking or communicating with them. They are respectful, professional, understanding and won't quit until the issue at hand is resolved. It is a RARE experience for me in Florida to have my phone calls returned quickly and pleasantly. It's easy to make appointments with them and the work crew arrives on time. Barry and his assistant worked on the windows the first time for approximately 3-4 hours. After they left I noticed some areas of concern on the glass and communicated with the Glass Restoration Inc. office staff. We agreed on a second trip out and scheduled it in the following weeks (my request). When they (Barry and Stanton) returned weeks later they listened to my concerns and addressed the issues (another 3-4 hours of work). They were understanding and professional. The windows now look like how new glass windows should look. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again. Thank you Sarah, Barry, Stanton and Allison.

A contracting job inadvertently scratched the exterior of the window that is the focal point of my house. It is the biggest window that looks out over the pool. The scratch was about two feet long and deep enough to put the tip of your fingernail into. I know the contractor was liable but I really didn't want to have to replace a hurricane-coded window..the time, effort, cost, inspection..headache! And it really didn't need to be replaced..if it could be repaired. I called half-a-dozen companies looking for glass repair instead of "replace" but they all said "we don't do that. we only replace". The contractor hired Glass Restoration. I was a bit skeptical, knowing the contractor is trying to keep costs down. But I was amazed and I am so glad they did. Barry Barbas fixed the scratch in less than an hour. No fuss ..no mess. It's beautiful! Incredible! at the fraction of the cost. Unbelievable results! They are in my contact list permanently! We moved into our new home with impact windows in June. At the time of closing, 4 small windows were being buffed due to scratches created during construction. To our dismay, the windows were made worse with big hazy swirls due to an improper buffing method. A second buffing by the same company improved the windows somewhat but they were still awful. We were told the final solution may have to be window replacement, something we did not want to have done. Thanks to my husband’s persistence and research of other companies, he implored the builder to approve the services of Glass Restoration. It turns out they were approved all along. Bruce, the owner, just left and the windows look beautiful. We will check them again in the morning when flaws are most noticeable with sun shining in but, so far, they look great. If we notice anything, Barry will return to fix it. Great customer service from a great company.

This company is absolutely the best! They show up for appointments on time and do great work. They removed scratches from 3 sets of sliding doors that saved me a lot of money. They’ve returned twice to remove a few hazes at no charge. I’m pretty critical when I need to be, but I can’t be more positive about them. Considering all the renovations I’ve done, this is by far the best company I have dealt with. Bravo!

The folks at GRI were nothing short of amazing. Very professional and produced a quality of work that far exceeded our expectations. We had 2 expensive panes of glass severely scratched just days before our grand opening. On opening day, there was no clue left as to the damage. We called Barry because we had a scratch on our sliding glass door. His cost sounded reasonable (slightly less than other companies that I called) and Barry was very nice to deal with over the phone. He sent out two really nice guys, Danny & Ezra and they arrived just when they said they would. In no time Danny had the scratch buffed out. He was patient and methodical with is work and you could clearly tell that he knew just what he was doing. I was charged exactly what was originally discussed and I was amazed at the results. Just like the scratch was never there! I was extremely pleased with their service and I plan to recommend them.

Barry Barbas came out within 24 hours of my call to evaluate damage to a large plate glass window. He was quick to determine it was the sun blocking window film that was scratched and not the expensive window. Great news for us. Even better, Barry would not take a payment for his service call. He went out of his way on short notice and when it turned out to be unnecessary, he wouldn't take anything for his time and trouble. Very kind, and excellent service. I would definitely use his services if we ever have a cracked window in the future!
